Friday, May 29th:

Packet Pick Up - 3:00 PM-6:00 PM: Trek Bicycles (5000 Menaul Blvd NE, Suite A - Albuquerque, NM 87110)

*You must bring a valid photo ID.

Saturday, May 30th: RACE DAY - Rio Grande Pool (1410 Iron Ave SW )

Road Closures from 5:00 AM-12:00 PM (Tingley Drive and Iron Ave from Alcade to 14th street).
6:00 AM: Last-minute packet pick-up and body marking begin. Transition area opens.
7:15 AM: Pre-race meeting
7:30 AM: Race Starts
10:30 AM: Awards

Race information

Relay Teams
All timing chip exchanges must take place in the transition zone.
The cyclist must receive the chip from the runner before unracking the bike.
After completing their segment, the cyclist must rack the bike before handing the chip to the swimmer.

Course Etiquette and Safety

To ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone, please follow these guidelines:
Stay to the right side of the course unless passing.
Pass on the left and clearly announce “On your left.”
Do not block the course. Avoid moving side-by-side if it prevents others from passing.
Stay aware of your surroundings and other participants at all times.
Headphones are discouraged so you can hear other athletes and course instructions.
Show good sportsmanship and respect fellow participants.

RUN MAP

Coming off Alcade Pl, all runners turn slighly left into the bike path going South towards National Hispanic Cultural Center, a little pass the Hispanic Center, they will hit a turnaround point and run back on the right side and once enter the Tingley Dr, they will run on the right side of that road. Then turn right into Alcade towards transition area.

BIKE MAP

All bikers will come off Alcade Pl and immediately turn right into Tingley Dr. They will always stay to the right and do full 3 laps. Once they see Alcade Pl turn for the 4th time, they will turn right into the transition area.

All swimmers will run into the pool area and enter the pool from the south-west end. They will swim in each line only once and will finish at the north-east end of the pool. Once they cross the mats after walking out, their time is captured and race is completed.

Awards for Top Male and Female as well a relay team.
